Ask questions and learn from expert freelancers

What are your experiences with double-outsourcing?

As we all know, the idea behind freelancer.com is to bring together clients and talented freelancers on the basis of common projects. By this way, the freelancer gets the chance to convince his employer from the quality of the provided work.

However, and with increasing frequency, the employer does not represent the client himself, but acts as an outsourcing agency.

This often brings additional complications, as I have recently experienced:
- Content-related questions that may arise during the project session can not be clarified directly with the client, as the employer is the only person in contact with him.
- Having completed a project in time, you may find yourself waiting for several days before you get a useful feedback on the work performed. You need to remain available for an indefinite period of time in order to bring the project to a successful conclusion.
- Pushing the best quality in shortest time, such employers are not truly committed to communication or clear explanations while you are fobbed off with affirmations of the employer's highest reliability.

I am interested in exchanging experience with other freelancers as well as employers in order to elaborate strategies, which may improve the way communication takes place on this platform.
