Contest Brief

Hello everyone, looking for an artist well rounded with fantasy/medieval/steampunk realm/world. This card game is about many kingdoms go to war with each other.

The card will be (width 2.5 inches by length 3.5 inches). with ROUNDED corners and the black border is prefered around the entire card front and back as seen in the uploaded jpg files.

Will need three (3) total designs:
1) this will be the back design of the card which will be simple but detailed and epic because it will represent the back of every single card for this game and will have the card game's name/logo as well. name/logo is provided in the upload files.
2) This will be the front of the card, the template. where name of the card, cost, images of monsters will be placed, text, rarity symbols and other details will be shown. The background of this template should reflect the strength of the BEAST KINGDOM.
3) Same as (2) above, But will have a background that reflects the strength of the ROBOT KINGDOM.

Take into account that images 2 and 3 will need to have space for entering text, names, abilities, attack, hit points, and symbols that i will add later on.

Summary of the beast kingdom: Fierce warriors and soldiers with great hand to hand combat skills, their kingdom is located mainly in the forest and plains regions of the world.
Summary of the Robot Kingdom: After a 10,000-year war with another race and loss of their home world these robots sought refuge lightyears away but at a cost of their power source. Crash landing on the World where the beast kingdom is the robots must fight with swords and shield, just like in ancient times, to survive.

Feel free to google other big card game such as magic the gathering, hearthstone, and duel masters and many others, to gain inspiration.

DO NOT WANT: anime or cartoon or comic book like designs.

You must use the logo/name that i provide with image 1 (the back of the card)
Otherwise for the uploaded idea for images 2 and 3 feel free to change the template in any way that you feel will make a better design for the game.

I will view all submissions before picking a winner.

The jpg images i uploaded are a very very rough draft of what i think would be a good placement for the different elements of the template, FEEL FREE to change anything and everything except the logo. Your design can be completely different from what i imagined and still have a chance to win.

Just want to say thank you to everyone that submitted designs to this contest. These are all really impressive designs, the variety of details and layouts were outstanding! All designs with a rating for 5 stars have exceeded my expectations and are better than i could have ever imagined. Again, Thank you everyone! I will be deciding the winner over the next few days and will hopefully have the winner picked by Friday. This will also be a very tough choice with such good designs to pick from.

  will be power crystal and gold for robots then food/wood/metal and gold for the beasts. As long as there is 4 circles in left hand corner or room or squares, however you feel the cost will look great on the card. you can put what ever you like to represent the cost and what is might look like.

  The parts are moveable, do you mean being able to edit the design when I receive the winner's design, that would be nice to edit the material myself if needed for future cards. But moveable as in animation, then no. This is for a printed card game, not an game app or video game. Hope this helps answer your question.

Yes please present the designs in color, the only color difference between the designs and that the artist will need to worry about is the with the two different backgrounds. for example if the robot background is yellow and the beast background is red then the rest of the card should be the same color as the other unless the text boxes allow some color to bleed through. For The castle symbol just leave room for me to add that in later, I would prefer the space to be where one of the squares are but if you have a better design then leave room where ever you see fit and think that symbol would look best in that spot. please feel free to ask more questions and if this was not clear enough
