Contest Brief

I’m ready to publish my new title, “Chemotherapy – Life Saver or Death Sentence,” by Barry Michaels DC, MPA, and I need a polished, print-ready cover set that passes KDP’s automatic checks on the first upload. That means two separate files—one for paperback and one for hardcover—each built to the exact trim, bleed, spine-width and color-space requirements that Amazon lists in its latest specifications.

Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Full front, spine and back design with room for the ISBN barcode that KDP will add.
• Two final PDFs (and the layered source files) sized for both a 6 × 9 in. paperback and the matching hardcover case laminate.
• Fonts and imagery licensed for commercial use so I can distribute worldwide without restrictions.

I haven’t locked in a visual direction yet, so feel free to explore anything from a clean professional layout to something bold and eye-catching—illustration, photo or abstract design are all on the table. If you have ideas for a color palette that instantly conveys the life-and-death tension of the topic, I’d love to see them.

Please include a quick note on your process, a couple of relevant cover samples, and how many revision rounds are included. Once we agree on the concept, I’ll supply the back-cover blurb and page count so you can final-fit the spine.
