Contest Brief

We are looking to replace our current brochure and hotel flyers, both in two different language versions (one in English and one in Norwegian) – for a total of two designs in four separate files. We are looking for submissions in a ready to print file format (pdf), though we would still like prompt edits and response from the designer for further rendering of files and designs.

We will choose only one designer for all four files as we would like the brochure and hotel flyers to be in the same style.

The designs we are looking for shall be creative and capture the idea of our wellness retreat: a modern fusion of Chinese, Japanese, and Nordic elements. The designs also must capture the atmosphere of our wellness retreat: calming and serene, with attention to details.

Pictures of the current brochure and former hotel flyers are attached. We have also attached a selection of pictures that can be used (choose however many pictures you think are appropriate), as well as an image of our logo in lower resolution (upon winning the competition, the designer will be sent a file of the logo in higher resolution that will replace the lower resolution photo).

Specific requirements:
- Logo must be prominently displayed
- Include a table/list of prices (see pdf entitled "Massage Menu" with information on new prices)
- Contact information must be clearly visible on both brochure and hotel flyer (opening hours, phone, email, website, street address, and Facebook page)
- Slogan must be included: “An oasis at the heart of Oslo” (English version), “En oase midt i byen” (Norwegian version)
- Bonus if QR code is somehow incorporated
- Content: Brochure must make room for the bulk of text in the pictures attached (see document entitled "Text for the Brochures")
- Content: Hotel flyer must include massage menu and a description of our wellness retreat
- Font: Clean and easy to read (font used for the current brochure: Arial Narrow)
- Trifold brochure
- Hotel flyer must be in the same size as brochure (when folded)
- Dimensions for the brochure, folded: A4 folded in thirds (Height: 210 mm, Width: 99 mm)
- Dimensions for the brochure, spread out: A4 (Height: 210 mm, Width: 297 mm)
- Dimensions for the hotel flyer: A third of an A4 sheet (Height: 210 mm, Width: 99 mm)

      Hi, the designs for the English and Norwegian versions should be identical. You can use the English version as a guide to copy-paste the provided text in Norwegian.
