Create 2D Sprite Animations for stick-figure people.

Contest Brief

We're developing a mobile game for release on iOS about stick figure people living in a jar. The style for game is supposed to be simplistic line art and stick figures. The popular webcomic Xkcd (www.xkcd.com) has a similar aesthetic.

While the graphics are stylistically simple, we'd like for the animation to be fluid and expressive. We want our players to enjoy seeing the nuance in how the stick figure walks, talks, dances, laughs, cries, etc. You can see a full list of the animations we're looking for in the attached PDFs.

This is a fun creative challenge in that you are intentionally "resolution-constrained" by having only stick figures to work with, but you can find other ways to make them wiggle and move in cool ways.

Animation Requirements:
*Compatible w/ Unity 3D v5.6 iOS Pro, C#-based projects
Unity 2D for 2D GUI
*All animations should loop indefinitely. No loop should be less than one (1) second.
*You should provide at least twelve (12) distinct sprite frames per one (1) second of animation time. We want the animation to appear whimsically fluid.

Delivery Requirements:
*Source files in Adobe Photoshop (fully layered, shouldn’t require using Adobe Illustrator in order to edit)
*Include a ready-to-import version compatible with Unity’s native 2D animation system

Hi everyone! We've just increased the prize size for the contest! We'll be closing the contest soon, please send in your submissions asap. Note: you do not have to do all the animations to be awarded the contest — show us just one or two to communicate your ability, and you can do the rest after being awarded the project.

Yes, or at the very least you should have all of them completed by the time handover is completed. We would need to see enough now to be able to award you the contest.
