Contest Brief

Looking for a designer to design my DJ Bio page with the text I have provided , & the logo and some photos incorporated into the Bio design. Looking for a modern nightclub style design, possibly white lettering on a dark background. Use a crowd scene photo as the cover photo , then incorporate smaller photos along the side of the bio. Please print the bio in distinct paragraphs & do no edit the wording please, The Bio text reads as follows - DJ Roller (a.k.a Mark Hawking) is an intuitive, creative open format DJ with a distinct urban flavour. His unique energetic performances seamlessly transition through different genres. He reads crowds & presents fresh dynamic sets, that tell a story . His freestyle sets create an uplifting dancefloor experience. DJ Rollers top achievement too date, is through the word of mouth reputation of his sets , transforming a quiet café/bar into a thriving premier nightclub party destination, with capacity crowds of 400 people , packed dancefloors & an entry line up every Saturday night when DJ Roller performs one of his weekly residencies @ Wisdom Bar. DJ Roller is currently resident DJ @ Wisdom Bar which is located in the heart of the tropical city of Darwin, capital of Australia's Northern Territory . DJ Roller performs Friday(10pm-2am) Saturday (10pm-2am) & Sunday nights (RnB session 8pm-2am) each weekend. Mark Hawking began his DJ career at Rave events in the early 2000s. In 2008 Mark adopted the name DJ Roller & made the transition too become an open format DJ, initially playing @ Sky City Casino & Bogarts Bar(Old School Funk set on Friday nights). He also performed at a host of other venues including the Crowne Plaza, The Convention centre ,The Hilton Darwin , Evolution Penthouse, Holiday Inn Esplanade & many more. In October 2009 DJ Roller emerged onto the Club scene playing 6 hr sets Thurs-Sat nights @ The Arch Rival Night Club. This was a very popular Club back in 2009 & it was at this venue that DJ Roller gained much of his initial learning experiences as a Nightclub DJ . He also hosted party games, quiz nights & events such as wet t-shirt comps & Jelly wrestling @ The Arch Rival night Club. Through these events DJ Roller developed his top level M.C skills. By October 2010 DJ Roller began DJ residencies at five different venues each week, these included - Wed Nights @ The Howard Springs Tavern -Thurs Nights @ Arch Rival Night Club - Fri Nights @ Shenanigans Irish Bar (7pm-11pm) & Fri Nights @ Ducks Nuts Bar (12pm-2am) - Sat Nights @ Wisdom Bar- Sun Nights @ Shenanigans Irish Bar. DJ Roller also had the experience of playing too larger 1000 plus people crowds at the outdoor events "Litchfield Rocks 2012" & at a 2011 "Street Party" for Shenanigans Bar's 15th Birthday Party . In 2013 DJ Roller became the exclusive resident DJ @ Wisdom Bar. This venue gave him the maximum creative freedom he needed , to be able to develop his signature DJ sets. He initially performed @ Wisdom Bar Fri & Sat nights in 2013, the following year he expanded to 3 nights per week playing a Throwbacks set on a Thursday night. Early 2016 saw the launch of DJ Rollers RnB Brand "The Champagne Campaign" which rapidly became Darwin's biggest weekly Sunday night session attracting a regular loyal following. DJ Rollers future aspirations are to reach a wider audience by taking his DJ performances to International & Interstate venues . He is currently working hard in the studio creating original tracks as wells as remixes, mash-ups , mix tapes & pod casts. DJ Roller is a guaranteed party starter for mainstream venues & events.

    Regarding the cover photo for the Bio, I highly recommend using the photo file DSC-0012. Also the photo file 7%201(1)jpg is a good cover photo, Highly recommended for the 4 smaller photos are the photo files djrollerjpeg , DSC0357-200jpg DSC-0320jpg DSC-0288 DSC-0237 , thanks

    I have added the files for the logo & marketing symbol in both jpeg & png formats, please place the circular marketing symbol next to the logo - thanks, Use one crowd scene pic as the cover photo , then use a combination of the corporate & club photos, you don't have to use all photos, please pay attention to colour coordination and eye catching qualities of the design - thanks.
