Design a Logo

Contest Brief

We require a logo to represent our brand, a website and magazine product. First and foremost, the logo must work as a masthead on a magazine cover.

We require a logo treatment in both square and horizontal (3:1 ratio) forms. Colour and monochrome.

Our brand is a web content platform and magazine focused on business technology, business digital transformation and IT leadership. It centres on storytelling - we cover the hard tech and drier business side of things, but with a solid focus on the human side to this industry. We tell stories about the people involved, the leaders of the digital industrial revolution. We do so in a super modern, youthful, and stylish way - whether it's the words, the videos, or the designs.

Our website (not live yet) and brand is: DigitalBullet.in

The logo is a treatment of the words: "DigitalBullet.in". We are happy to see ideas that include the words together, apart, or in the 'URL' form including the '.' .

[UPDATED] Key considerations:

- Please try to avoid emphasising the ".in" part of the logo. Doing so tends to look very similar to the LinkedIn logo.

- It would be helpful to see the logo mocked up on a relevant background, e.g. a mock magazine cover.

- Right now, we are just looking for a logo. Further down the line, we will want to develop from that a more complete set of brand assets and guidelines to deploy across website, social media creative, video and magazines. This commission is for logo only, but in time we would prefer to work with the same designer to help develop the full set of assets.

- The logo will appear in multiple channels, sometimes very small and sometimes very large, and over a variety of backgrounds (most notably magazine covers). It will therefore need to be simple and bold enough to stand out in any context.

- We will require usual source vector files on delivery.

- Stimulus words that might help:

High tech
Cutting edge
Professional
Business leadership
Digital
Transformation/change
Artificial intelligence
Cloud computing
Data
Deep insight

One note: It would be useful to see the logo mocked up as per a magazine cover, as opposed to (for example) shop fronts or walls.
