Contest Brief

A logo design for our “scuba squad”
- a group of us who have been diving together in south Florida, we do regular dives and this is what we’ve started calling ourselves. We love a beer after diving so incorporating a brew into logo would be sweet (but not mandatory).
Logo will be used to print on merch we make for ourselves (hats, shirts, dive gear) and for social media.
Inspiration:
- scuba diving elements (duh) - mask, snorkel, fins, dive gear
- ocean elements - fish, sharks, coral, ocean, waves
- fun elements - beer, a sneaky pot reference would be well received (a lot of em toke)

Logo must be more than just the WORDS “scuba squad”. Work the words into design with some other components noted in the inspiration.

ASK ME QUESTIONS! This is the first time I’ve done this on Freelancer. I have other brands I want to design that are dive/ocean related :)


- brands I love: neptunic, Waterlust, gilibags, Gugunderwater, Apple (!), Beneath the Waves
- things I love: uw photography, sharks, coral, turtles, scuba squad, blues, greens, beers, clean lines, modern, ocean, waves, scuba, palm trees, sun (rise/set), sustainability and conservation
- color pallets: blues, greens, whites, greys, cool colors
- fonts: clean, rounded
- position: ocean, responsible, fun, friends, weekend, diving
