I'm a yoga teacher and am looking for someone to help create a logo for me. It'll be used on my website ([login to view URL]) and on my personal marketing material (at this stage, just business cards, yoga workshop fliers).
I'm a vinyasa yoga teacher, yoga studio manager, adidas ambassador and write the health and fitness for a monthly magazine. My yoga classes are fun, lighthearted and sweaty, with an emphasis placed on music - things like John Hopkins, Nicolas Jaar, Royksopp, This Mortal Coil, A Winged Victory for the Sullen, Nils Frahm, Nightmares of Wax etc. I love the yoga philosophy and the therapeutic elements of the practice. I'm hoping to specialise in yoga therapy - working with marginalised group and helping them work through different physical and mental ailments. I've recently moved to Qatar, where I'm trying to encourage and inspire people to explore yoga, fitness and healthy living.
Charlie de Rivaz Yoga. It doesn't necessarily have to include the full brand name included. If you use my name, please put Charlie de Rivaz on one line, Yoga on the next line.
A range. I'm from East London and normally teach in yoga studios in Hackney, but am now living in Qatar, which is a more luxury market. I want to attract interesting, dynamic 20-40 year olds (men and women) to come to my classes or private classes.
Design - clean, modern, minimal, possibly incorporating symbols/symmetry. I like geometric shapes, circles, lines, triangles, scared symmetry. All lines to be thin and delicate.
Colour - neutral colours, maybe with a white background and logo itself black.
Typography - sans serif, not too bold. It needs to be delicate, simple but appeal to a luxury market.
Values - Positive, fresh, parred back but aspirational (in that I want to inspire people). It needs to look professional to appeal to my top tier clients.
Things to avoid:
Nothing cliche - I don't want someone meditating with a lotus leaf around them, a yoga pose, a sunset!
