Contest Brief

Hi There I am trying to design a logo for a wedding directory.

Basically it is a going to be a website for couples to use to find the most highly recommended wedding suppliers in their local area so we have everything from venues to florists to cakes within the group.
I am looking for a very sophisticated and elegant logo, in terms of colour I would like something that can be adapted to be used in white & black for use on pictures and marketing materials but if your main logo has colour that is fine too.

The group is called: Wedding & Events Directory Service (or W.E.D.S) for short.

I have attached a copy of a logo for one of the businesses within the group to give a kind of idea of the simple elegant look I am after.
