Contest Brief

Design two logos for our company.

We are looking for a fresh new look to our picture framing company.
Our new showroom will have an industrial look with polished concrete floors, white ceilings, and down lights. Gloss black staircase leading to our second floor art gallery. The stairway will be wrapped in a timber feature wall. Steel framed serving tables with rustic timber counters will be on wheel, so we can move them around the space. One whole wall (approximately 10 meters long by 3 meters high ) will be covered in black wall runner, this will have our frame samples on it.

Our art gallery will have timber flooring with white walls. The ceiling is exposed steel, industrial look that will be painted black. As we are re-designing our whole look.

The logo will need to be reversible Black/white and white/black as seen is samples provided.
Our front doors will be large Black Doors, Possibly gothic style, definitely will have some kind of pattern.

Please note that the logo will be used for our signage for building and vehicles, business cards and on our uniforms.

  its a door and no matter what you do every type of door is on the internet after all its a door only we can provide a different treatment.You can see Cients old logo is also availabe on internet .Client wants a simple door and he is well aware of it.I hope you get it .Regards

We are a picture framing company, been in the industry since 1987. We are a family owned and run business that has just been taken over by my sister and myself. Our Parents started in the framing industry in 1972. We are re-inventing our company, with a fresh new look. We want a modern industrial feel. Our factory is currently being renovated with polished concrete floors, stark white walls and ceilings with down lights. There is a timber stair case at the front of our building that takes our customers to a second floor. This will be painted gloss black and wrapped with a rustic timber feature wall.

The bottom floor will have large steel serving counters with rustic timber table tops, one wall will be filled with 100's of frame samples on black wall runner. The opposite side of the showroom will be filled with ready made frames and prints. Up stairs will be an art gallery with timber flooring, the ceiling is exposed steel, this will be painted matte black. and the walls again will be white. We will have accent lighting upstairs with a concrete timber look. There will also be a high end framing section up stairs, with high end Italian mouldings, this space will be used for Interior decorators and the like.
