Contest Brief

Jay is seeking a simplified but classy logo that reflects his real estate business.

"My name is Jay Coates and as a realtor, the name being out there recognizable is very important.

The logo should be simple enough that when you drive by a realty sign it should be recognizable as your brand.

I have a logo and included it for reference (see attached). I like but it is missing the finish to give it depth....maybe three dimensional, maybe set up like a wax seal stamp...maybe shrouded with a Caesar’s laurel...just don’t know ...or something completely different but keep in mind, it should be easy to remember at a glance.

My colour scheme is White, navy blue and antique gold flake...or champagne...haven’t decided. My Company name is "Coates & Company"...my tag line is: “the perfect place to hang your hat” but don't think that should be part of the logo.

My business takes me in different directions...residential of course...but also industrial, commercial and resort living. I have included circular icons that I thought might match the circle making up the letter J font in my logo.
