18/5/16 - BRIEF MODIFIED AFTER REVIEWING SUBMISSIONS, (see below)

I am based in New Zealand, and my latest company is 'Think Electric Bikes', entering the emergent bikespace for the new generation of powered cycles. It is a market I see as having its own developing style, with cues taken from both traditional cycling (step-thru frames, shopping baskets, panniers...these bikes can carry a lot of stuff), to powered mountain bikes, fast commuters and beach cruiser styles. Prices are USD 1500 upwards for a quality bike, so it is not a budget brand.

I see the brand as having splashes of colour and style in its imagery, a little bit 'fashion', BUT a little muted. This is not definite though, I am open to creative thought processes.

Our company imagery/web-look has now been defined as being black-and-white with splashes of colour where the bikes/people on the bikes appear. Like the people with the bikes are the brightest part of any scene. I have attached example files of how this sort of shot appears, to clarify.

The logo will need to complement that overall imagery. It will be coloured, but more muted colours, not so much 'toy shop' / rainbow colours, more classic, flatter shades. It will need to be enduringly stylish, simple, a bit 'fashion house', clear, uncluttered, easy to read.

The word 'Think' has been introduced to allow free range with the brand in terms of 'Think Freedom', 'Think Zero Traffic', 'Think Fast Commuting', 'Think About The Environment', etc. Many uses in various media, and I feel the word 'Think' is differentiated from the words 'Electric Bikes'. I am looking to achieve a clear logo, for immediate use in physical signage, website, email footer, stationary, etc. Any additional input around how that colouring and style can extend to develop the brand is a bonus to me.
