Contest Brief

I always thought that my purpose in life is to help people.
Donors Tree will be a nonprofit organization focus on projects that empower women and men, and give children equal opportunities in life. The first project is to raise money to pay scholarship fees required for children to go to school in a village in Uganda, Africa.
I would like to have a logo that reflects the following concepts:
1) a member of a family tree helping a member of another family tree;
2) connection between people
3) growth as an individual and
4) roots, foundation
Maybe a fingerprint in a shape of a tree and the roots.
Maybe 3D
Color pallet that reflects trustworthy: (See attached)
