Contest Brief

DESIGN A LABEL FOR FOOD JARS.
----------------------------------------
The products that will go in the jars are multiple but include chutney, jam, marmalade, pesto, kimchi etc

The label dimensions may be varied in the future (with different size jars) but can be assumed to be 7cm /x 4cm

The design should be in colour but should work in black & white as well (please submit both versions).

The Brand name is M&J's.
This should appear prominently in the label

There should be space in the label for the product name - for this competitions call it "GREEN MANGO CHUTNEY"
This should also be prominent in the label

There should be some text appearing on the label saying " MADE WITH LOVE IN A HOME FARM KITCHEN"
This does not need to be as prominent as the brand and product type

There should be room on the label for an ingredients list. This should be a smaller size font than the other elements and for this competition should say " MANGO, VINEGAR, SUGAR, APPLES, SULTANAS" It should be sized in a way so that it will fit when the ingredients list is twice as long.

There should be some graphics elements in the design - (not just words)

The imagery presented by the label should be "home made" and simple

Note1. In the brief above, where I've used CAPITALS this is just to indicate text elements, These items don't have to be in capitals on the label you produce

Note2: All entries to include at least 2 images..
- Black & white version
- Colour version

Note 3: Competition is dependent on hand over of the graphics authoring file (Photoshop, Illustrator etc) used to compile the label as well as high resolution

Note 4: I am running 2 competitions simultaneously with 2 alternative brand names but all other elements remaining identical. It is highly recommended you look at the other competition and for minimum additional design work enter 2 contests rather than 1
