Contest Brief

Business Overview:
The logo is for a high end beach & swim wear business.
Business Name: 5Gyre
Business Slogan: Clean Wave Project

Mission:
To clean our oceans, through using recycled plastic, along with donating portions of the profits to help physically clean our oceans.

Logo:
The logo & slogan need to be: clean, fresh, simple, black and white.
Draw inspiration from the photos attached for the logo and fonts.
Think Nike, think Apple when designing this simple, yet impact high logo & font.

Layout:
I envisage 5Gyre on the top, with the Logo below, and the Slogan at the bottom in smaller font.
However, use your imagination to produce your best work and be as creative as possible.
This could include font that wraps around in a circular manner, with the logo in the middle.
It could also be an aspect of the logo or font, with a water effect/wave pattern.
The Logo Inspiration images are for inspiration only, and cannot be exact copies.
However, this gives insight into what we're expecting.

Standards:
We expect a very high caliber of logo and font selection & you should also expect this from yourself, when producing work for this brand.
We will provide as much feedback as possible to help you through this process.

    Hello CH! I'm interested to participate in your contest. It would be nice if you can #guaranteed and #sealed the contest. Some of the designers feel confident to participate in contests that offer to protect them work by sealing it (so only you can see it) and by guaranteeing the final price. Also, it is a plus cuz nobody copies other designer’s work.

    Hi, Thank-you for your first initial submissions. There is some promise with the options provided. Please see my commentary and think outside of the box. The final design, will need to be simple, black and white, clean, fresh, fun. Feel free to put in multiple entries, or the same submissions with different fonts on one entry for me to review.
