Contest Brief

I am looking for a logo for a new production company I started.

The name of the company is "The Oaks Media Group". I have two very different ideas I want to try and flesh out with someone. I also have a bunch of other projects I am working on so this could potentially lead to more work.

The first idea would be a design using an oak tree. I have 4 kids and a wife and the name of the company has their intials in it. O A K S M. I would like to try and incorporate their names somehow. Maybe having those initials carved into the trunk of the tree?

The second idea is totally different. Something big and splashy with the letters O A K S M. Maybe an electric feel or something boldly painted.

I also want to say that I am open to any ideas you may have. I very much would like to see what ideas you have. I am working on a variety of projects so nothing is off the table in terms of design. We have documentaries, scripted tv shows and films, books. I would be possibly looking to continue working with this person after this idea comes to fruition.
