Contest Brief

Hello,

My business partner and I are based in a city area in Australia and are launching a product, but am struggling with the name and logo.

Target market: Females aged 18-35. Those who are social and go out to bars on a regular basis, often with groups of girlfriends.

Target situation: Women might take this product out with them in preparation of an event (or night out), or purchase at the event (e.g. bar, restaurant) if they are in a situation (e.g. blister on foot).

Product overview: Small zipped cotton or clear plastic bag (size of a standard Iphone) that contains essential items needed which could be needed when going out to an event, restaurant, pub, bar, etc. Items include Safety pin, Hair tie, Bobby pin, Nail file, Band aids, Tampon, Hand wipe/makeup remover, Eye liner, paracetamol, dental floss.

Naming guidelines: The product is here to be a support to girls when they are out with friends, and solve a situation (e.g. wardrobe malfunction) that would alternatively make them leave. It should evoke the feeling of having fun, keeping the good times going,

Asking for it at a venue, should feel similar to asking for a cocktail or drink, not like you are asking the bartender to sell you a tampon or band aid.

Some of the options we have thrown around are"
- Lifesaver kit (too sterile)
- Best Friend kit (not colourful enough)
- Fix kit (too sterile)
- Essential kit (too sterile)
- Magic bag
- Miracle (too much like the name of a tampon brand)
- Save the day (not fun enough)
- Brave bag (too much like the name of a tampon brand)
- KeepU kit 'Keep you out, Keep you having fun' (too descriptive)
- Golden kit (too descriptive)
- Husol Bag (Help you stay out longer) (not fun enough)

We need product name suggestions and logos and will select the best option which is submitter.

Employer Feedback

“Simon went well above and beyond in the project I hired him for. Not only did he do great design work, he was also great with product naming.”
