Contest Brief

Our earthmoving/excavations company needs a new logo. It has not been changed or updated in over 20 years.
We are a family run business and have used the colours Red/Black/Grey for the last 20+ years. Id like to continue with these colours.

Can someone please freshen up our logo. This will be used on trucks, letterheads, clothing, social media & website.

We'd like to stay away from the usual basic Excavator icon with some text that everyone uses and looking for something more unique and easily recognisable.
As we have a strong presence in our area we'd like the logo to possibly have some resemblance of our old logo.

The logo should be modern, unique and bold, using reds, blacks and greys. It should also be responsive and able to be used in a wide range of uses. We want to stay away from cartoonish styles.

This should include a full branding style guide as well.

Dear Contest Holder, i just wanted to tell you to NOT be fooled by those who
only submited their design with MockUP template (especially 3D MockUP).
only judge the design with neutral background color (black/white).
otherwise your judgement is a skewed,
because 3D MockUP is just for show, its a form of a DESIGNER SCAM..
it's only a PHOTOSHOP EDITING.. it's gonna be different when you receive the original file

please, beware of that.

and I recommend you check that the design you choose does not contain images already used,
look for creations of the designer since if you use a registered image it can bring you legal problems and moreif it is for a logo and for the image of your company where you will receive money.
