Contest Brief

Comic strip with fantasy / medieval theme. Colored or black and white, no matter the technique or style, but the work must be finished. The length also does not matter, it's up to the artist, whether it's a short strip or a multi-page story, but have to be interesting, creative, funny or exciting in some way. The main character in the story is a goblin, a shady soldier in the Lord of Shadows' army, who seeks to be recognized as a valiant warrior in the struggle against the forces of Good, but always ends up in troubles. The details of the story are borne by the artist, influences that can be cited are: Hagar (Henfil), Conan the Barbarian (Robert E. Howard), Lord of the Rings (J. J. Tolkien), Monty Python, among others.

You can do it any way you see fit. This is the amount usually charged per hour by a Brazilian professional, in fact it is little, but our reality differs a lot from the European reality. I'm paying for an hour of work, but if you think this figure corresponds to, say, only 15 minutes of your time, if you want to sit 15 minutes and draw a comic in simple black and white, using creativity, style, but not spending much time on it, feel free to do it. The contest is guaranteed, if your entry is the only one you will be chosen anyway. I hope you understand, I do not want to depreciate the work of the artist, my intention is to give opportunity to new talents and if the work is cool it will certainly be rewarded.
