Contest Brief

Hello freelancer artists. I have an art idea for a t-shirt but I am not an artist. I am in great need of your skills and creativity. I'll try my best to describe the idea of the art for you to illustrate. If you have any questions feel free to ask me and I'll try to respond as fast as possible. So the theme behind this art is about making choices in life. I would like for a forked road to be drawn with a sign in the middle saying “ I set before you life and death choose life.” One road on each side of the sign going off far into the distance. One road will have the word “wickedness” written on the road. On the other road the word “righteousness” written. I would like the words to look like they are flat on the road itself, and getting smaller as It goes off into the distance. Keep in mind all words in this art need to be big enough to be readable from about 4 to 7 feet away. This is pretty much it.

***Important in depth Details***

I want this art to look more like art on a shirt versus a picture on a shirt. I do not want a huge square on a shirt. Take a look at ( demo1.jpg picture file below). See what I mean by square on a shirt? There is a drawing, then a sky and everything is colored in a big box. I don't believe a blue sky will be necessary. I want the t-shirt to look like a design was drawn onto the shirt, and not like a paper was printed on the shirt. Take a look at (idea1.jpg file below) this is a picture demonstrating the idea of the art I am looking for. I am not asking to copy this exactly, feel free to use your own creativity. Only thing I do not like about this picture is the man. I do not want a person in the art you make. It should look like it was drawn from a first person point of view, a beginning of a forked road with a big sign in the middle. I would really love for the words on this sign to be readable on a shirt but I am aware that it can be difficult to make the words readable while also maintaining a nice look in the art. I ask that you try your best to make it work, but first save a copy of the art without the sign before you add it, so just in case it is not big enough I can use the art without the sign. I would like the art file to be 14 inches tall and 11.5 inches wide, this is the size of the transfer paper I use to print into t-shirts. I understand that when you draw a road with the illusion of distance, the road gets smaller as it go away. So you most likely wont be able to use the while 14x11.5 area, but use all the 11.5 width, and try to use as much of the height as you can. Your primary focus should be illustrating the far distance of the road, and the sign. Please make this using a realistic drawing style rather then cartoon style.

** Important**

Draw using a realistic style, not cartoon.
Upload your final art files in a PNG file type.
Upload your art with and without the sign.
The art file must be (11.5in W x14in H) Inches.
Set the art area size before making the art, **Don't stretch out the art to the required size after making it** to ensure the quality is its absolute best.
Make the DPI as high as you can, I am looking for quality.
!DO NOT COPY AND PASTE THIS PICTURE!

I hope I did not make it sounds complicated lol . Good luck winning. If you have a question email me (infimiz)at (gmail.com) you can ask on here too but Gmail notifies me, freelancer does not.

Guys my dad was not clear to me about what he wanted from this contest, he has been constantly rejecting every entry so far. I just finished talking to him because I wanted to know why he did not like anything. I learned that instructions were unclear from him to me and naturally form me to you guys. He wants the art to look completely different, in his onw words "these look like cartoons I want them to look real, like your standing at a road fork and looking at the sign with the roads in the back." He game me a picture to go off of. I will try to restart this contest. Sorry for the inconvenience, I hope you have patience with us.

Hello! I've read the entire description of your project multiple times, and I personally cannot wait to get started on it! I've seen the attachments that you put, and I can't help but ask this question: Would you like the project to be made in a more realistic style, or would you prefer it to be illustrated in a more cartoonish style? All the attachments that you've put were illustrated, but in my opinion, it'd look better if it was in a more realistic style. It's up to you, however! If you can tell me which style you prefer, I will get started immediately!

    Thanks for reading!
