Contest Brief

BACKGROUND
We have proudly operated a roadhouse business on the South Coast of Western Australia for many years that is a part of our local community. We love to bake our own breads, cakes, burgers etc and always source from local produce companies including for our coffee beans where possible.
NEW VENTURE
A great opportunity has presented itself for us to expand into a Mobile Coffee Trailer (called Tall Timber Coffee). This van will mainly be situated at the ionic destination ‘Valley of The Giants’ which is visited by local and international tourists. It is a unique environment set amongst tall timber trees such as Karri and Jarrah.
Although we commence our operation in this location, we may trade further afield too as the coffee van business increases.
LOGO
We need an elegant and professional logo that conveys to the customer a feeling of well being if they drink our freshly ground coffee. This logo will be placed on a black background initially (negative image) then placed on stationery at a later date (positive image). We prefer metallic coloured font or image however are open to alternate colours based on designer suggestions.
The designer chosen will need to provide a high resolution and high definition logo where applicable per format:
EPS, PDF, Jpeg, Gif, Es, Ai
The logo will need to be created in both horizontal and vertical style types. Please allow a 5mm border/buffer surrounding logo when formatting.
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
We would like our own identity and do not wish to copy any businesses within our vicinity including Nornabar, Tingles Bakehouse, Peaceful Bay etc.
The designers in this competition may be requested to revise their logo at different stages.
The winner may be requested to produce a similar parent logo at a later stage – this will be costed separately to this competition.
Please DO NOT use any pine trees or pine tree shapes.
