Oh no, I thought there was more time! If you still haven't found a design you're comfortable with, could you extend this contest for one more day? I think I have a design that might suit your tastes.

I like the current submitted designs, but the blood is a bit much. Without the blood, they are pretty cool. We're looking for something a little more simple. They are compelling though! It's a good start!

I applaud all of you for your designs. You have the hardest job: taking written ideas and trying to create an image that conveys emotion and brand recognition. That is very difficult. Our goal is to produce several t-shirts and work with just a few designers. Your work will be rewarded. Thanks again!

Ok, I've added three files. One is an Icon logo. They are a brand known for coolness and have been able to maintain their brand recognition very well. Their design is clean and simple.
Another image in the brief is the Ducati Streetfighter. This bike is iconic because the design says more about the bike than words could. You can just look at it and completely understand what it is about. If our brand had an unofficial mascot, the Streetfighter would be it. Hands-down. If you want to incorporate parts of this bike into the design, please do. That will prove to be an edge in this competition.
The last image in the brief is a Twin-Six t-shirt. It's very cool, has elements that pertain to the industry the brand represents, and is simple, yet complicated, but ultimately cool.
I think the design we seek is a mashup of these three iconic designs. Whoever can get closer to that, will win this contest.- 13 years ago

Hello. Just wondering: (1) What do you mean by "obnoxious"? and (2) Do you want just "RiSE" as text on the shirt, or is other texts alright to use? I like the organization's name by the way...which brings me to a 3rd question of whether you want "RiSE" on the shirt or "RiSE (Ride in Style, Everyday)"?

Ha! Great questions!! Obnoxious = gunshots, blood, and anything that implies the cliche "biker bad-ass". It's just silly and unrealistic. Many dentists ride, and dress the part, at which it becomes a costume. I'd like to avoid that. My intent was to have just RiSE on the front and on the back have "Ride in Style, Everyday" and the URL in a smaller font just below the collar on the back. I've added some files to the brief and I will be explaining further. Thanks for your questions! They've helped me considerably.

I like it. I like it a lot. I would indeed use it, but I am looking for something minus that level of character for our first t-shirt. Later down our line, I would indeed like to maybe include #20. Don't give up. I think there is great potential there.

If I can get a transparent PNG, that would work a little better. I really like the design. I like the simplicity. I'm not sure if I like all the gray "RISE"s in the background. It could be just the font too. I'd prefer to see something clean rather than the scratchy font. You're very close, though! Please see the files in the brief. If you could incorporate parts of the motorcycle and the type of logo into a shirt like the attached image, you'll be on the money. Hopefully that gives you a better idea of the vision. Thanks for your effort!

First off, I want to thank everyone for submitting the great designs. Any designs that have been rejected were done so because the imagery did not fit our brand - not because they weren't good designs. I would encourage more submissions. These are great and I am inspired by the design talent displayed. I will add some reference images and hopefully a little more clarification. I look forward to working with one, or some of you. Thanks for all of your hard work.

Our goal is to appeal to all riders, but not specific genres of bikes. We want to create a cool alternative to the logo emblazoned Harley merchandise, but at the same time embrace the lesser known bike riders. People who ride BMWs, adventure bikes, people who ride naked Japanese bikes, but don't want brand affiliation all over their clothing. We want to appeal to riders, regardless of their bikes. Style is our priority, not making a statement. We will be printing t-shirts with multiple designs, we are in looking for the signature "look" at the moment. In our case, simple is better. Nothing offensive, no major statements, simplicity.
