Hi!
We need a light, funny logo for our new website casesandchill.com. We sell creative phone cases, which catch people's attention and help our customers express themselves in a unique way.
We'd like a logo which is good to look at, it's "funny" and nothing serious, but at the same time, it shouldn't be childish and ridiculous either. Our primary customers are 18-35 women.
The logo must be recognizable in a small scale, as we are going to use it as our profile picture in all our social media profiles, so nothing complicated. If it's not recognizable, or too packed on a small scale, it's not going to be accepted.

IMPORTANT, just to avoid misunderstanding :
1.WE DON'T NEED NERDY TECH LOGOS with mobile phones and different accessories and stuff like that. Think about this more like a fashion brand, as we give a new unique look for your phone.
2. WE PREFER CIRCULAR LOGOS. Or at least, logos that can be fit in a circle. As you know, the profile pictures in Instagram are circular and we don't want any part of the logo to be left out.
3. THE LOGO SHOULDN'T CONTATIN THE .COM ending! The name of the company is Cases and Chill, and that's what should apprear in the logo.
4. DON'T LIMIT YOURSELF TO A SHAPE OF A PHONE! PLEASE!!! :) If you look through our instagram page (link above) you'll see, it's about everything, and very little about the phones.
5. THIS IS A FASHION BRAND, NOT A GADGET COMPANY. Our far-fetched vision is that we want to make phone cases as much an accessory as jewelry, watches or sunglasses. Maybe people have more, they use different phone cases to differrent occasions, they change it over and over to express themselves.

Somehow in the team we all agreed that we'd prefer if the color purple appeared in the logo, but it's up to you. If you create something awesome with other colors, that's more than welcome.

Everything else is up to your fantasy. Go wild, brainstorm, don't hesitate. If you have ten or fifteen awesome ideas, then apply with all of them and you have higher chance of winning. Beginners are encouraged to participate too. We accept 2D and 3D logos as well. If you have any questions, feel free to ask us, we will answer everything in 24 hours.

    Dear contestants!
    Recently I found out, that one of the TOP 8 contestants was using an image downloaded from a Stock photo website as an entry for the competition. I think it goes without saying that this behavior is not accepted under any circumstances and it resulted in immediate ban and report to the admins of freelancer.com. Due to this unforeseeable event I decided that more time is needed to thoroughly research if any of the top entries appear anywhere else on the Internet. I will take my time, since after selecting the winner, I'm going to be the one who will deal with all the consequences. In other words, I don't want to make myself a target for legal battles, just because I unknowingly use another company's logo, as a result of the designer's immoral behavior. I know, that most of you are decent, honest people, and this situation is clearly not normal, but I want to make sure, that all of the designs are custom made for this contest, unique, never-seen-before images.

      I am very sorry for the 95% of the people, who are honest, genuinely good people who tried their best to come up with a logo, but until make sure 100%, that the potentially winning logos are all unique, I will not declare a winner for the competition. I want to be over with this as soon as possible, and I will try to announce a winner by the end of the week.

    The deadline for the applications has ended. Thank you all for the participation. We received 218 entries, which exceeded our expectation many times over, and we are very grateful that all of you handed in so good logo designs. At the moment of writing this, we are down to our 8 best logos, and the competition is very intense. We will dedicate time in the next 2 days to evaluate them and survey as many people as we can about the logos, and the winner is expected to be announced on Wednesday night, London time.       I'm sorry, right now this is the most we can do, but as soon as we have the possibility, we will do more. As soon as the business gets going, we will constantly need more and more designs. Hopefully, it it turns out to be good, we will spend thousands of dollars on freelancer in the coming years
