I want to use the ESP32-S3 module with a RP2040 attached for a project. The RP2040 doesn't have any flash. Instead the ESP32 boots and once running downloads a binary from its own ROM into the RAM of the RP2040 by bit-banging IO47(SWD) and IO48(SWCLK) into the SWD port on the RP2040, then boots the RP2040. There is a discussion how to do this here. A post by Lurk101 half way down indicates he has got it working from a Pi So this code needs converting to run on an ESP32-S3. Just compile the standard "flash the led" C program into an RP2040 binary to test it. Obviously write it using the standard Espressif libraries for the ESP32 so the binary is saved in the standard file structure and the code can be merged into other code.
