I am currently working on home automation project. This project has 2 stages. The first stage is to build an Android mobile application which is able to control the accessories. As well as an IPCam (that also can control IR devices), a wifi bulb (other than the Philips Hue lights), some door/window sensors, a couple of smart plugs and a device called BOND that is an RF/IR remote compatible with Alexa/homekit, etc. I wanted to be able to control these devices with Homekit/Siri/Siri Shortcuts/Google Assistant, and maybe have homebridge installed if necessary as well. I don’t know if you’re the right person but perhaps you can let me know. I want to design a small device that lets me connect some standard probes to measure some variables in a solution then track the variables so they can be picked up by an app, graphed, etc. The information needs to be available so that devices that connect to Apple HomeKit, Alexa, etc. can use the information to make decisions about what to turn on and off. Looking for an expert electronics/circuit design engineer with experience building smart devices that communicate with smart home hubs like Samsung's Smartthings, HomeKit by Apple, etc. I need a battery power circuit built that can communicate with a Zwave enabled smart home hub, particularly Smartthings. I have chosen a particular integrated IR sensor/onboard microprocessor with a digital I2C output to be used (datasheet and communication protocol can be obtained from manufacturer).
