We are using HWDmediashare component on our Joomla site. The component has plugins for automatic embeding videos from youtube, vimeo, metacafe, dailymotion etc. Based on these examples, we need a custom plugin that will work for videos. The plugin should be able to extract video title, decription and thumbnail from video link.

On our site we have two different modules we'd like to figure out how to combine. We have Kunena Forums (v 2.0.4) and hwdmediashare (v1.1.5) all together on a Joomla (2.5.7) platform. What we are trying to accomplish is integrating hwdmediashare into the kunena editor (bbcode) to allow file uploads and posting of uploaded video into the kunena forum (via embedded player). Currently through the editor you can add video links from known providers but we really just want to show our own video library. If you are a master Kunena/hwdmediashare guru, let me know. If you're not but think you can hack it to pieces and make it work, let me know!!.

Looking to customize hwdmediashare (hwdphoto/videoshare) to use as photo contest component. Rating is part of the component right now, but we need to be able to automate the resetting of votes monthly, and customizing their "best of" module to show the highest rated image or video from each category in order. We'll also need to archive the monthly winners into a winners circle for future "face-off" type contest for grand prizes. There are quite a few other features needed, but this is a good start for the right person.
