I have a memset dedicated server, running linux, php, mysql. I normally use it for Drupal site. Now I want to install a Nodejs environment on it then I can use nodes to read the Drupal site's Services API. I already made everything working on Nodejitsu. However, I don't want two server spaces. There is a Drupal module Nodejs but I cannot make it work. Hi, I have an existing web app which scrapes eBay/Amazon web pages for price data. When I search and with this app on my laptop at home it works flawlessly and I scrape 500 results per search. When I search from my live app which is hosted at NodeJitsu, the works fine and scrapes 500 results but does not. Sometimes I get a few results, sometimes none. This leads me to thing there is some possible IP limiting or number of requests limit being enforced by Amazon. I need someone to: 1) Find out exactly where the script is failing. When I am searching USA sellers, I get 500 results returned which are all displayed in a table and works OK. However, when I search UK eBay sellers on my app, I get 500 results only on my dev machine but not where the app is hosted (NodeJitsu). I have installed and can access the node command prompt and I can login to Nodejitsu from there. I am having problems from there. I have been working on a project using Node.js to take a data stream from a TCP connection and forward it to a websocket. I have a version of this code that works locally but am trying to deploy it on my webserver. I have tried out Nodejitsu, Cloud9 and a few others as a host but haven't had much luck. I have a small and node.js app that is currently just a 'who's online' list of users. It is part of a larger Ruby on Rails site - the Rails app is hosted on heroku and contains the client code, and the node.js server is hosted on NodeJitsu. I'm trying to build a very simple function whereby a user can click a button next to another user's name in the list of online users, and it then make a message appear on the target user's screen. I've done my best to build this feature but can't quite get it to work. I'm looking for an expert in who can come in and fix this easily in a short amount of time. I'm hoping to deploy the entire application into production at the end of this week, so need immediate help.
