I am a licensed builder, and I install ' Tropical ' roofs over caravans which occasionally include a connected carport. The engineer I have used for years has now retired and so require assistance with certifications into the future. Mid North Coast council only require certifications where new structures are being installed, rather than simply replaced. Previously I would submit footing and structure details to engineer as were previously done, and the engineer would provide certification based on photo evidence.
