I need someone who can work with me to tie it all together and/or recommend different approaches to implementation. First stage is an iPhone app that is used to inventory commercial building equipment (lights, HVAC, images). My company ([url removed, login to view]) will use the app to do an inventory and test the app. The next stage will be to create layouts to allow users to review the captured data and the third stage will be to create reports to give the the building owner that tells a story of how the building is put together. This project could have no end since there is much that my business needs to get into a database. Create a table per form and fields using camelCase field naming to capture the input data with appropriate formatting with some built in auto-enter "self" correction/filtering or value lists, radio buttons, check box sets to ensure user data is clean upon entry. ONIX is an XML-based standard for book metadata, usually provided by publishers to booksellers with information about their products. More info here [url removed, login to view] The standards are well defined, and there are plenty of scripts out there, but there does not seem to be an easy way to import to a database without knowing XML and XSLT. This should be relatively straight forward for someone that has worked with Onix before. I need to be able to import both Onix 2.1 and Onix 3.0 files into the same master database. The initial Onix file is very large (16GB, 2M product lines). The aim is to be able to create a master database that can be updated regularly. We have a filemaker database. It is the master database for our office. We enter products into it, and export a CSV from it, that gets imported into our Woocommerce site. Currently, after one or more orders are placed, we export a CSV from Woocommerce and import it in Filemaker. What we would like to do it setup an automatic method for FM to scrape the site for new orders, which will update inventory numbers in Filemaker, as well as enter the order data fields into FM. Could be JSON, a direct MySQL read, an automatic export of CSV (then automatically imported into FM. We have a plugin that already exports in CSV and has scheduling (and URL triggering) options. CDiscount is the french equivalent of Amazon. They provide a SOAP based API. I need a developer to use Filemaker 14 to to get our open order information into a single filemaker field. Simplicity is the rule here. e.g. send request to CDiscount - get data in its raw form onto a global filemaker field. NO PHP or web services. I manage a portfolio of 30 holiday rental villas. Quotes for rentals are made on a daily basis. Once the quote is accepted by the tenant a rental contract is made. Quotes are now calculated manually, but need to be automated. After the tenant has left, commission invoices need to be made. Again, this is done manually but need to be automated.
