The line will carry a small DC voltage while also handling standard-speed data, so clean signal integrity and reliable power delivery are equally important. You will cut, strip, crimp or solder as required, apply heat-shrink for strain relief, and verify every lead with continuity and load testing before packing. I have fifteen disassembled original first generation "cigalike" e-cigarettes waiting for fresh new cells. The spent batteries still have to come out; I’ll supply the brand-new replacements along with step-by-step instructions I’ve written from my own repair notes. Once each cell is tinned and soldered, the board and wiring need to slide back into the original metal tubes that I will ship with the lot.
