I am running two businesses and attending college. Needless to say, some assignments I do not have time to finish. The following project entails writing en essay on a somewhat broad topic. You have to have excellent English and be familiar with writing English essays academic style. The story should be about you defending the use of plastic bags. You are a President of Big Bags, the largest supplier of plastic bags in America. More information is below. This should be a 3 page, double spaced essay written in size 12, Times New Roman font. I study full time, and will not have time to write a lot of essays, so if you are able to help in a timely manner with this one, many more will be assigned. The deadline for the project is 4/4/16 - 9AM EST ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Earth Day is April 22. The Wall Street Journal plans to have a special section that day to discuss business issues and environmental issues. They have invited Bruce Smith of Green Earth to write an op-ed column about the pollution of the earth with plastic bags, and they have invited you as President of Big Bags, the largest supplier of plastic bags in America, to write a counter piece about plastic bags from the viewpoint of a socially responsible company. The article is to be no more than three typed pages long, double-spaced. You know from past experience many of the points Mr. Smith will raise in his op-ed piece- such as the one billion bags used each year which are not recycled and which are filling up the landfills of earth. He will advocate mandating reusable bags. He will cite the costs to societies and governments that permit the use of plastic bags, and he will commend those communities and nations that now ban plastic bags as examples to be followed. It goes without saying that the Wall Street Journal is read by all the business and government leaders. Your personal reputation, as well as your company’s reputation, will be enhanced if you make cogent arguments. Your assignment is to write the op-ed piece described.
