need help with writing suggestions for briefing paper for book... race against the machines ... here is what i want....

What are the three items that SHOULD appear on the first page of a briefing paper? (i) Executive Summary, (ii) Key Terminology, Concept and/or Definitions, and (iii) Further Sources 2) What are the three parts of an Executive Summary? (i) Introductory sentence or two, (ii) brief description of the content, and (iii) major takeaways 3) Should bullets be used in an executive summary? No, the Executive Summary should be written in prose. 4) What are “Further Sources”? A brief description of anything that you are recommending to an interested reader for additional information including, but not limited to, scholarly papers, magazine and newspaper articles, books, websites, online videos, etc. Each further source should have a citation to its reference. 5) What style references should be used? APA – Use the MS Word Source and Citation Manager to ensure that they are properly written. 6) What should be in the remainder of the paper? Some or all of the following sections in the presented order: (i) Introduction / Background -­‐ to motivate the reader to invest in reading your paper and supply necessary background (ii) Summary of parts of the book or article – presenting content and giving major takeaways in each part (iii) Scholarly support – of the ideas and facts presented in the book or article (iv) Scholarly refutation – of the ideas and facts presented in the book or article (v) Your Thoughts – Thesis (and/or opinions) (vi) Summary – List of major takeaways from the entire book or article (vii) Conclusion and Recommendation – Description of what was in the book or article including major takeaways in more detail than what was in executive summary. Your recommendations 7) Should I include section headings, tables, figures, pictures, etc. in the body of the paper? Yes, when you believe it will improve the value to your reader. If you use too many it will detract from your paper. 8) What is a topic sentence? The first sentence in a paragraph that introduces the subject of the paragraph. Make sure you use them.
