Accounting set up for a start up

Description of the business We are a startup company incorporated in the District of Colombia (Washington DC) and specialized in the sale of affordable building materials. Scope of services The Company uses Quickbooks Online as its record keeping system. Also, the Company is setting up all the internal procedures and processes of the company including the sales process, purchases process and cash receipts and disbursements process. We are looking for a US based accounting consultant. The provider shall perform the following services: - Review the Chart of Accounts and make necessary adjustments: define the chart of accounts in accordance with the industry standards, - Review the current QuickBooks Online set up and make required adjustments to allow Quickbooks Online to track all the revenues and expenses by Business Unit (currently Washington DC and Beijing), by Product Group (ie Flooring), by Product Category (ie Carpet), by Customer and by Purchase Order. - Set up an inventory system and a fixed asset inventory and depreciation system - Review the nomenclature set up by the company from purchase order to invoice and advise - Review the overall process flows set up by the Company and advise - Advise on payroll accounting methods and make recommendations on Bi-weekly vs Monthly payroll - Review the Company prepared the financial statements for the last three years and re-file the tax returns for 2007, 2008 and 2009 - Set up a complete Filing Calendar – Corporate filings, Taxes (Franchise Tax, Sales & Use Tax, Unemployment Taxes), … - Train the financial manager on the use of Quickbooks Online by answering to his specific questions. - Set up an Accounting and Financial reporting plan - Define and Set up any other recordkeeping system that might be needed beside Quickbooks Online. - PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR HOURLY RATE FOR YOUR SERVICES and please provide similar projects that you have accomplished
