We lost our Quickbooks bookkeeper due to illness. The system is in place with all all customers and all vendors in place. However, due to her illness this year, we have not been doing bank reconciliations. I have been having a non- accounting clerk do data entry of transactions.
I am looking for a bookkeeper reconcile bank statements and produce P&L statements. Future skills required may include accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prefer experience in the physician practice industry.
This is a low transaction practice. Each transaction consists of a Quickbooks 'Job' and assigned to that job
on the A/R side is one Insurance Company invoice and once Insurance Company payment, and on the A/P side is one Physician invoice and one Physician Payment, one Nurse invoice and one Nurse Payment. In summary, there are 6 transactions per 'Job' and about 25 'Jobs per month. In addition there is the fixed costs side with only 10 vendors with one Invoice and one payment Per month. All in all, there are less than 200 transactions per month. There are 9 months to reconcile. Estimated time therefore is 1 hour per month X 9 months = 9 hours.
