DNS fail over and recovering it from same or different region 11. Auto scaling in which if any of the instance will stop responding then a copy of instance will be loaded so that there will be no down time. 12. Backup of instances, database, volumes 13. Hi there! I can help you for sure. I have been working with AWS DynamoDB for many years and I have a deep understanding about indexes & querying. Your case sounds not very appropriate for an noSQL DB because of date comparison/sort. You may need an extra simple table [ customerID | lastEvent ] with customerID as Primary partition key. Before any main table write op, a simple write must be done in that second table. Overriding any previous event for each user. This way this second table will have always (only) the last event for each user. Contact me for any extra questions.
