Looking for someone to write an article for a blog about academic English writing for non-native writers.
The article should be about a specific aspect of point related to academic writing and could be in the following areas, for example:
- Advice on academic English writing
- Common mistakes made in academic writing or commonly confused points
- Tips on how to improve a specific area of academic writing
- How to increase academic vocabulary
- Interesting grammar points or advice related to academic writing
- Specific advice on writing for a certain academic, for example, science, social sciences, humanities, etc.
- CV/resume writing tips for academics

We are quite flexible in the topics we can accept, and the area can be general or field-specific.
This job is just for 1 article, but if the article is well-written we are looking for someone who can write several articles for the blog.

My topic would be about improving vocabulary, with the main ideas that it's much easier to create output in the styles that you input ("read more and your writing will improve"), and that vocabulary is much more easily improved if reading older literature compared to modern. Even fiction writing in the past used wording more akin to modern academic writing. The title would be something like "Improving Vocabulary Through Older Literature".

I am Mexican and have studied English all my life, and worked as a translator for Dutch people in several occasions.
