Asterisk guru wanted for some one-on-one training to help us get more comfortable with using the system ourselves. Project deliverables include demonstrating:

- a general overview of functionality and best practices

- how to easily create sip users and voicemail boxes for sip users

- how to allow end-users to record voiceprompts and set their own passwords

- the creation of simple schedule/date-based call trees

- processing inbound faxes

- processing multiple, simultaneous inbound faxes

- processing inbound faxes on the same server, if possible

- routing to external fax resources if local processing isn't practical

- setting up email notification templates

- setting asterisk up as a sip, vbuzzer or gmail client

- configuring webgui 2.0 in a virtual environment

The successful candidate should be prepared for probing technical questions. Although our staff are not experienced asterisk administrators we possess very strong network, firewall, OS and other technical skillsets. We have also worked with Nortel BCM software so most concepts should be fairly familiar.

Please quote a flat fee for three hours worth of training. Training is to be delivered via TeamViewer (version 5) during business hours Eastern Standard Time. Our preference is for a visual web session with audio for asking questions.

We have a training environment already in place:

- host OS: a Ubuntu lamp server (8.04 LTS)

- Asterisk 1.8

- Ekiga softphone clients

- web-gui 2.0 (installed but not configured due to hardware scan errors); there are no issues with the cli interface

* Please note that our end objective is to run the platform in a virtual environment (currently Sun VirtualBox) connected directly to the internet, there is no end objective of directly interfacing with computer modems, physical PRIs or other on-board telephony cards.

Happy bidding!
