Demonstrator in C, C++ and C# for COM interfaces

Project Description: For an project (measurement equipment) a demonstrator software is needed. The equipment is connected to the USB ports an is identified as COM-port. We need a software where the baud-rate and all otdher relevant parameters (regarding the communication interface) could be set. The demonstrator has a least one function: It shows what the equipment sends to the PC and sends the received code back to the equipment. If the equipment is disconnected, the SW stops working with the message "equipment disconnected" Default setup is: 9600 Baud, no parity,1 Stopbit (8N1). Languages / Codes: C: The SW uses the console WIndow (DOS). C++: as in C. More comfort is welcome (GUI) C#: Gui where all parameters could be set. (See default) with a box where the communication on the COM is shown. A Box where data (Ascii or 8 Bit HEX Code) could be entered for sending to the equipment is welcome. The code must be commented so that third persons (students) could understand the code. Target Operating System: Windows XP or Win 7 THe Device attached is a FTDI FT232 RL.
