$2-30 USD / hour
We are beginning the process of porting our BlackBerry telephony application to iPhone.
The BlackBerry app was developed initially by a third party who assisted us in becoming self-sufficient over a period of time and it is now developed and maintained in-house.
We wish to repeat this model with iPhone and so need help with the following:
- setting up the iPhone development environment
- understanding the reality of developing, approving and distributing iPhone apps
- assessing any challenges we will face in replicating the BlackBerry functionality on an iPhone
- initial development of the iPhone app to a spec (not yet determined)
The work will probably be a mix of hourly-based consultancy and project-based/fixed deliverables.
We would prefer to work with a single individual and probably a sole operator with experience in developing apps on the BlackBerry and iPhone, preferably with experience in telephony and pushing data to and sending data from the device.
At this stage, we are simply looking for expressions of interest and an indication of hourly rates rather than specific bids for all the work.
We will then liaise with a small number of respondents to complete the selection process.
