I need an admin who is experienced at using Squid Proxy server.
Specifically this is what I want you to do--
Look at the C code of Squid Proxy server. And then prepare a simple document that explains the following-
(a) How does Squid detect an incoming request's source domain?
(b) How does it store user access credentials (when a user logs in)
(c) How does Squid maintain user sessions (ie allow user to continue using a Squid proxy server once he has logged on)
(d) How does Squid redirect user to specific data from a folder on the same server? How does it serve that data (I am referring to data that is stored/cached on that server)?
(e) How does Squid server a web page eg. HTML that is stored/cached on the same server?
I should be able to myself create new code (in any language including C) that basically does all of the above, simply by reading through your document.
