CRM customisation

We are very interested in sourcing a competent company to help us dive into CRM within our company. We are using online MS dynamic CRM and have some ideas that would hopefully make it easier for our staff. We are a small business of 20. I realise this is a very specialist field and would like to start small with a developer. We would be interested in a small project first to develop a relationship. If all goes well then we can discuss the larger picture for our company. The first little project we would like done would be the ability to format leads, opportunities, orders in a "non-item" style. In our business we are more of a service company so the traditional "items", "price lists", etc are of no use to us. We would simply like to enter a list of items/services in line format with prices for each which would total up. That's it! Following that we would like to gradually work through are processes in order, ie. the next step would be integrating our quoting system into CRM which is basically excel driven. Then the next step, and so on. Below is a bit more detail... Task 1 TO BE ABLE TO ENTER ROWS OF SERVICES WITH QUANTITIES AND PRICES Currently CRM only allows us to select price-lists which have been setup from a product catalog. As we do not usually sell “items” we would prefer a simple manual entry. I know you can do “write-ins” but that confuses our staff. What we would prefer to enter is: QTY. CODE DESCRIPTION UNIIT TOTAL 3 LED Power supplies 60 180* (* = auto calculating) 2.5 Service Replace power supplies 80 200 1 Travel To and from Bayswater 50 50 ________ Sub Total 430* GST 10% 43* Total 473* Do you think this sort of thing might be possible? Keep things simple now and then maybe add to it later (ie. with pull down codes, etc.) Not very fussed about this being available in leads, but it would be good in Opportunities, Quotes, Orders, then through to Invoices.
