C++ or Python programming

I am very proficient in c and c++. I have 16 years c++ developing experience now, and have worked for more than 6 years. My work is online game developing, and mainly focus on server side, using c++ under linux environment. I used c++ to make many great projects, for example, I made the tools which can convert java files into c++ scripts, of course garbage collection included, this job is very similar to a compiler, and is very complex. I am a programmer of about 10 years now and currently work professionally using Python. I can deliver you an object-oriented program involving Markov chains. Basically if a person was put on a grid with a random starting point and exit and wandered randomly would they ever find the exit? The answer is yes, always and the program would run simulations proving so. This would be a Python version of something I wrote for another client in Ruby. The write-up will take up the bulk of the time, but you will get a good grade for sure. If you want something easier, the game of life is probably the easiest thing, or a word length counter but it would be difficult to fill 2 pages on a proposal.
