Arduino Light Controller

The project should utilize preferably the Teensy 3 (Teensy 3.1 acceptable). Another controller such as Arduino mega is acceptable. The goal of the project is to incorporate Teensy 3, AdaFruit Neopixels, and Vixen 3. The core of the project is forming communication between Vixen and the Teensy so that light sequences programmed in Vixen can be output to the AdaFruit addressable pixels.
In short, the lights should be similar to the programmable Christmas lights where a user can create a light pattern in Vixen and have it displayed on the individual lights. Please inquire with any questions.
