I need a design of a multi-channel, ultra-high efficiency switching LED driver (Constant Current) with the following specs:

Topology: AC to DC (CC) single stage with PFC

Vin = 100 VAC to 240 VAC

Output quantity: 4

Vout = 24 V DC to 36V DC

Iout = 0.0 A to 1.4 A (per channel)

CC adjustable: yes, with analog or PWM control voltage

Overall Efficiency: >95% (at all working point with load I > 0.2A)

Power Factor: > 0.95

Size: < 100 mm x 40 mm x 20 mm

Component Cost: < $10 at 1000 pcs

I know, that specification are very difficult to reach and I'm available to discuss exceptions and tradeoffs.

Some hints for topology (not binding, just suggestions):

Deliverables: a complete schematic with all components and calculated values.

Format: Altium Designer preferred, otherwise a pdf with schematic

Please evaluate well if you are able to do the job and please propose a budget.

UPDATE:

Over the weekend I did some more researches and found a new topology that might apply well to this job.
The topology is called SIMO (Single Inductor Multiple Outputs), where only one inductor is used, saving space and budget. Controlling is a little more difficult, but it is doable with a modern MCU.
Please read the following documents, that explain SIMO:
- https://ir.nctu.edu.tw/bitstream/11536/27787/1/000265092300008.pdf
- http://ims.unipv.it/~franco/ChapterBooks/10.pdf
- http://rincon-mora.gatech.edu/publicat/jrnls/tcasii09_simo.pdf
- http://www.jsts.org/html/journal/journal_files/2014/06/Year2014Volume14_03_05.pdf

So the new architecture will be a two stage:
1) a high efficiency AC to DC converter:
- Vin: 100 VAC to 240 VAC
- Outputs qty: 1
- Vout: 24-36V
- Efficiency: >95%
- Power factor: >0.95
- Power: 100W
This shouldn't be too difficult to achieve...

2) a SIMO DC-DC converter:
- Vin: 24-36V
- Output Qty: 4
- Vout: 24-36V
- Iout: 700mA (please note that I lowered this spec to make it easier)
- Efficiency: >95%

The second stage includes a MCU with PWM outputs that controls 2 FETs at the input and 4 at the outputs. Inductor is shared. By carefully chosing the components, it shouldn't be too difficult to stay in budget and efficiency. The main part is to write the MCU firmware to control the PWM.

Can you please update your offer to reflect this new topology?
Kind regards

Very small chances to keep that small size for 50watts (per 1 channel!) driver, another bottleneck is unit price, imo it starts from ca 5 usd per channel .
