Design a circuit and PCB for an Altera Cyclone IV FPGA, including gigabit ethernet (x4), serial, and some general purpose I/O. USB host or SATA support would be a bonus.
The design needs to include similar functionality to the Altera development kits, in having SRAM (32bit x 2Mb), Flash (8-bit x 8M), EEPROM, SD card, and the ability to be programmed using JTAG or program itself using a serial configuration device.
The implementation is different to the Altera development boards, with different GE PHYs, and different memory, so it cannot be a copy of those.
The PCB needs to be in a form that can be used by a typical PCB fabrication business.
