Battery Specialist Advice

I am a consultant working for an international leading product supplier. I am working in a new field and need someone with battery knowledge who can advise on what power source would be required to power various Free Standing Advertising units. For example one item I am looking for is a battery that is rechargeable but will last 6 months in one go in a free standing unit. Once 6 months has passed it will be recharged to last another 6 months - It will power a motion sensor and various LED lights that will flash on for 20 seconds when a member of the public walks within the proximity of the unit. I need specifications created for the battery and then I will need this battery sourcing globally. This is just one example of a requirement I have - there are various others that can be discussed.
