Hello I need someone to do a digital clock for me with Xilinx program. I need to get familiar with Xilinx and this is the only way that I can get familiar. I will use the project that I get from you to develop a much more complex clock.

Here are the details:

The clock should have 3 modes:

1) Normal Mode: Displays the current clock and date. The clock should be in HH:MM:SS format and the date should be in DD:MM:YYYY format. Time and date may not be displayed simultaneously, but they may be multiplexed.

2) Alarm Mode: An alarm can be set.

3) Chronometer Mode: A chronometer should be implemented, and should have START, PAUSE, and RESTART functions.

4) Set Mode: Current date and time should be set by the user.

Showing the date is not a simple task actually if you consider the different number of days in the months. You can do your design such that it works for the year 2005 or etc. only.

Every clock requires a high precision clock signal with a certain frequency. As the clock source, you will use the internally generated oscillator on Xilinx board.

In order to display the time and the date, enough number of 7-segment displays should be used. In order to enter the new date and time, you may use the push-buttons as the input mechanism.
