I am too busy with work and I am looking for an experienced VB.Net programmer who is able to continue and improve my existing desktop application. This desktop application is developed for Autodesk Inventor and Solid Works. Some info about this application: Application name: 3D Norm for info see [login to view URL] The database is based on Microsoft SQL Server. The application in written in VB.net (VS2012 Professional). Massive advantage would be if you have: work experience with Inventor for at least 5 years for testing purposes. good API knowledge of Inventor and or API knowledge of Solid Works. This would increase the budget but I can take care of the testing and coding for Inventor and Solid Works. With this version I would like to switch to WPF and I have posted this as a separate project.. English is the preferred language. This is an ongoing project and therefore communication is important to be able to maintain a good working relationship, I do not want any language barriers. Professional advise is appreciated and I am open to good suggestions. Regards, JJ

Hi JJ, I have been doing programming for past 14 years. I have sound knowledge in all CAD packages like SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD etc. Given any CAD package, since I have complete understanding of object model and APIs, I am a versatile designer as well as programmer. Have been doing automation using VC++ / VB / VB .NET / C# / AutoLISP etc. for more than a decade. Also, I am augmented with strong engineering and mathematical skills. Let me know about the project in detail so that we can finalise on the scope of work. Further, I have a little exposure to some of Australian standards as well.
