Message: Young adult fiction seems to be a very lucrative market, especially if your plans include a series of books, which it seems they do. I've written mostly for theater - this has given me a good head for dialogue, which I believe carries over to my fiction. I've had five plays performed in Philadelphia, one in New York (all small venues); two short works in contests and marathons in Boston; and one work published with many productions across the country. In addition to this I've had two short stories published - one of the two published both in internet and physical periodical format. I'd love to talk more - I believe strongly in the long-term potential for YA fiction, and having ideas and a story to follow would be a nice change of pace. My rate for 10,000 words would likely be $100 - but if this is a longer work this can be negotiated (I don't know what the typical rate is these days, having not submitted for a while) My apologies if I've rambled, TS
